• Applicant must be from one of the Asia Pacific countries not more than 45 years of age
  • An applicant must not have received a scholarship from the APAMT in the last 3 years
  • Application for the award must be submitted together with an abstract to the APAMT Scientific Committee for evaluation and consideration. The applicant may be required to provide raw data to the Scientific Committee for scrutiny.
  • Applicants will be judged on the merits of the scientific quality of their submitted abstracts as well as having fulfilled other stated criteria.
  • Successful applicants will be notified by email from the Congress Organisers
  • Scholarship winners are required to attend the 18th APAMT in Putrajaya, Malaysia, to make an oral presentation of their submitted studies.
  • The value of the travel component of the scholarship may range from USD 500 – USD 1,000
  • Winning the scholarship will not impact other abstracts submitted by the applicant.

* A Letter of Support of Endorsement from your institution
  • All documents must be saved in a compressed (.zip) file and uploaded onto the Travel Scholarship Submission no later than 1 July 2019.
  • Only Financial Members of APAMT are eligible to apply for Travel Scholarship. Non-financial members can find more details through
